Marchesa's Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig whip up beyond exquisite bridal creations season after season. Their latest example? The brand's fall 2016 collection, in which they delivered more of that signature glam-meets-romantic style, like dramatic tiered-to-there ruffles and lavishly embroidered threadwork.

"We wanted to create an airy feeling. What we have here is a lot of silver and mother-of-pearl embroideries, and ball gowns that turn into sexy dresses after," Craig says, calling out the detachable skirts along with bejeweled bodices. "The jewelry adornment is a signature for us now. It's something that really resonates with our customers—it's got the romance, but it's a statement look that we love."

Statement, yes, but the real stars of the show happen to be new additions to the Marchesa offering—the house's debut bridal shoe and costume jewelry collections. Each bride was blinged out with sparkle-studded floral bib necklaces, chandlier earrings, and tiara-like headpieces. "We loved every minute of the experience," Craig says about designing their first bridal jewelry line. "We're such hoarders of jewelry and magpies for all things glittery. It's just really exciting to be able to express all the things we've thinking about and wanted to do for so many years."

The footwear, too, is equally exquisite. Intended to capture the airiness of the bridal collection, caged booties feature intricate laser-cut patterns, floral appliques, and delicate grosgrain ribbon.

"This season is very fresh for us because we have a whole new package," Chapman says, "and now you can be a Marchesa bride from head to toe."
