Old friends and contemporary style icons, Madonna and Kate Moss, reunited in London on Thursday for an event at Mark’s Club in Mayfair.

The British venue lists a rather stringent dress code on their website, specifying that no leather or exposed undergarments are to be worn on the premises—but it looks like Madonna overlooked the rule book. The Pop Queen arrived at the club in an edgy black ensemble that paired a set of ripped jeans, a pearl-laden leather jacket, a matching quilted cap, a sheer black lace top, and a bold belt buckle that spelled MADONNA in gilded block letters. Accessories of note included a pair of zebra print Mary Jane pumps and a pair of gold hoops.

Meanwhile, Moss showed up wearing a mandarin mock turtleneck gown with a colorful Asian-inspired pattern, a deep slit up the thigh, and a black belt cinching the waist. The 42-year-old Brit paired her bold gown with a black fur coat, sheer tights, and a set of low-heel pumps. Moss laid the finishing touches on her look by piling her blonde locks into a topknot secured with a set of chopsticks.

At some point in the evening, the ‘90s it girl and ‘80s pop icon shared an off-duty moment together, which led to this glorious photo of a sleepy Madonna lying on top of Moss while the model dons Madge’s leather cap and poses seductively like the norm-defying cover girl she is.

To be a fly on that British wall…
