If you need a little incentive to clean out your closet, Madewell is here with a solution: The beloved denim brand just launched the Denim Forever Tour, which will reward you with food, drinks, music, and (most importantly) discounts for recycling your old jeans.

The tour, which is part of Madewell’s Denim Every Day program, kicks off Aug. 13 in Portland, Ore., combining denim recycling, denim customization, and the music of indie-pop band Freedom Fry on every stop on the way. The brand partnered with Blue Jeans Go Green, which turns old denim into housing insulation, and will reward jean-recycling customers with $20 off a new pair of Madewell jeans and a reusable canvas tote (while supplies last).

Along with this incredible offer, the Denim Forever Tour will offer chain stitching by Ft. Lonesome and a pin bar with exclusive embellishments by Pintrill. To keep the party going, food and drinks will be provided by Union Wine, High Brew Coffee, and local eateries. Freedom Fry will perform on each Saturday of the tour at 5 p.m.

After Portland, the 13-day tour will continue in Seattle, Boulder, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Boston. See for the full list of dates, and to RSVP for the denim extravaganza. If they're not coming to a city near you, fear not: Bring your old jeans into any Madewell store, year-round, and get rewarded with $20 off your next pair.
