This Unofficial Mad Men Reunion Has Us Craving a Revival
If you can believe it, Mad Men’s ultra-hyped series finale aired nearly two years ago. But the '60s-era AMC hit has us once again hankering for more after the cast members reunited on Thursday to celebrate the launch of creator Matthew Weiner’s 1,000-plus-page tribute book to the series.
There’s no official revival in the works just yet (hey, Netflix …), but the stars still helped us through our Don Draper-withdrawal when they met up this week at Taschen bookstore in Beverly Hills, Calif., while looking as glamorous as ever.
Although several key players were absent—Peggy Olson (Elisabeth Moss) and Roger Sterling (John Slattery) included—many other vital characters made appearances. Betty Draper/Francis (January Jones), Megan Draper (Jessica Paré), Sally Draper (Kiernan Shipka), Joan Harris (Christina Hendricks), and, of course, Don Draper (Jon Hamm) himself all came out for Weiner’s launch.
