Lady Gaga's Favorite Designer Is Getting a MAC Makeup Collection
Even if you don't know Brandon Maxwell by name, you probably know his work: He's the stylist-turned-designer who took Lady Gaga out of the infamous meat dress and into satin gowns on the red carpet. Now, Maxwell is moving into makeup: The MAC Cosmetics x Brandon Maxwell Collection is here, and it's just as glam as you'd expect.
The Texan designer is taking it back to the Lone Star State with his MAC products, and all of the shades are inspired by his home state and the larger-than-life women there that have inspired his career. All of the shades in the 5-piece capsule collection match the colors of the clothing in his upcoming Spring 2019 fashion show.
The products include a 4-pan eyeshadow palette of desert-toned shades in three finishes, two Lipglass lip glosses named after Maxwell's sisters, and two matte lipsticks in sunset-inspired shades. All of the products in capsule collection range from $18 to $34. Maxwell's collection is housed in the brand's standard black and silver packaging, plus an outline of the Texas state and his signature across the palette and lipstick tubes.

As for when you can get your hands on the collection, the products will be available Sept. 8 at maccosmetics.com, immediately following Maxwell's runway show at New York Fashion Week. You can also get your hands on the products at select MAC counter locations.
