Lupita Nyong’o has us seeing green. The Oscar-winning actress stunned in a gorgeous emerald Balmain dress Sunday night at the opening night party for her Broadway debut in Eclipsed.

Proving again her A-List status as not only an actress but also a fashion force, Nyong’o caught all eyes in a sleeveless green lace ensemble, boasting elegant ruffles and a striking deep V-neck. With hair pulled back, the actress accented the look with a peach lip and matching peach nails, finishing it off with dramatic blue eye shadow and gold chandelier earrings.

Before the curtain went up, the Yale grad and Kenya native took to Instagram to share her excitement and some behind-the-scene details about the play.

Posting a picture of a colorful handwritten list on her personal stationary, Nyong’o wrote, “Happy opening to us! @eclipsedbway A few things to know before you see ECLISPED (Part 1): This is my Broadway debut! Such a thrill. I can’t believe it.”

Number 11 on the list? “Before the curtain goes up, you can typically find me knitting backstage,” she wrote. “It helps calm the nerves!” She's a woman of many talents!
