When Lucy Liu isn’t on the set of CBS series Elementary, or casually stepping into splits on late night television, you can bet that she’s spending time with her 1-year-old son, Rockwell Lloyd.

On Sunday, the 47-year-old actress shared a snap of the two soaking up the N.Y.C. art scene at the Whitney Museum of American Art.

In the sweet post, Liu looks every bit the knowledgeable tour guide as she gestures at the piece before her. Adorably in sync with his cool mom, Rockwell also points at the work while he lounges in the comfy Ergobaby carrier ($160; saksfifthavenue.com) strapped to Liu’s chest.

The actress celebrated the moment with her followers, describing the outing with this apt caption: “A little culture with my little one.”

Liu welcomed Rockwell via a gestational surrogate in August of 2015, and she’s been diligently documenting their life together ever since.

As evidenced by Rockwell's adorable onesie, Liu's chocolate lab is also a very important family member.
