Just because summer has ended, that doesn't mean the long bob trend has! Both Halle Berry and Sarah Michelle Gellar jumped onto the trend last week, proving that the one-size-fits all moniker applies when it comes to this cut. On Thursday, Berry walked the red carpet at the God's Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards in New York City with a gorgeous lob, which accented the color-blocked neckline of her Michael Kors gown. "Literally the most stunning human on this planet," the star's hairstylist Kristen Ess wrote on Instagram. "Such an honor to cut this bob today." Though the style is a departure from her trademark pixie, we're loving her soft, lived-in texture and the pale blonde highlights.
Gellar also got scissor-happy over the weekend, chopping her long layers into a collarbone-length lob. "Time for a change," the star wrote on Twitter along with a few photos of her new 'do. The last time we saw her in a crop this short was back in 1998 during her Buffy days, and over 15 years later, her tousled, modern update only continues to slay us.
