Hold onto your school supplies, '90s kids! A hybrid live-action and animated movie (think: Who Framed Roger Rabbit?) inspired by the out-of-this-world artwork of Lisa Frank is now in development.

Frank is reportedly partnering with Air Force One and Dan in Real Life producer Jon Shestack to bring her psychedelic world of rainbows, unicorns, dolphins, and cuddly baby creatures that defined back-to-school shopping for a generation, to the big screen.

"I have always wanted to do a feature film that brings the world of Lisa Frank to life," said Frank, in an announcement. "We have so much backstory on our characters and they have been alive in my imagination since the beginning."

"Lisa Frank's world is cheerful, it's optimistic, it's hip, but it is without snark," Shestack said. "It's just sort of impossible to scowl when you're smiling, and why would you want to? I'm so stoked to be part of this."
