Lionel Richie and Sofia Richie Have the Cutest Father-Daughter Date Night

Lionel Richie proved that his daughter Sofia is his best accessory as the father-daughter pair stepped out together on Thursday night for their first red carpet outing together in three years.

The "Hello" icon, who was an honored guest at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Patron of the Artists Awards that evening, ensured he had his good luck charm on his arm as he accepted the Recording Artists Inspiration Award for his charity work.

The 19-year-old — who last made an appearance alongside her father at NYC's Toyshop opening dinner in November 2014 — looked all grown up in a chic white mini blazer dress, which she paired with shoulder-length crystal chandelier earrings and a low sleek bun.

Meanwhile, dad Lionel ensured he looked dapper for his special appearance in black slacks and a black jacket as he beamed and posed alongside his youngest daughter.

And while the 68-year-old might have looked every bit the proud dad, the model proved that the feelings went both ways as she took to her Instagram story to share a congratulatory message.

"You're gonna kill it tonight!" the teen gushed to the award-winning musician in one video, before captioning a sweet selfie of the pair, "So proud of you @lionelrichie .. love you."
