For Cinderella star Lily James, her always stunning red carpet looks can be credited to stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray, who’s unlocked the secret to the actress’s killer style. And while Corbin-Murray helped the beauty choose the “’70s French Riviera chic” Marchesa gown that she wore at this year’s Golden Globes, James knows instinctively what works best for her and is constantly evolving her look. “She’s definitely a lot more refined. Lily’s quite a tomboy. She didn’t really care about fashion before, and now she loves fittings,” says Corbin-Murray. “She’s super excited. She recognizes brands. She knows what she likes more. She knows that suits her. And she’s just a really exciting, beautiful young star to be working with. I’m super exited about her.” As for avoiding any mishaps on the carpet, the stylist has one foolproof trick: “See how it looks in a photograph,” before you head out to a big event. “When we decide what we’re wearing, I get all my girls to look in the mirror and practice posing and how they can make themselves come across in the best way, and how they make the fashion look best.” Duly noted!
