The actress recently opened up about how she's gotten in the best shape of her life in People's latest Wellness issue, where she revealed that being healthy is about much more than just looking incredible in a killer outfit on the red carpet. "It's so important for me to stress that being healthy is not about being a gym rat. It's not about being 90 lbs.," she says. "This is really how I live every single day." When it comes to her eating habits, the brunette beauty sticks to a vegan diet and always starts her day with a green smoothie. And as for her go-to workouts? The 30-year-old prefers hot yoga, hiking, and SoulCycle spin classes. "You have to look good, but you also have to feel good," she says. "So I find workouts that take on both those things." Michele admits that she spent several years in her 20s really figuring out what works for her, but now believes she's in the best place she's ever been in thanks to her intense workouts, weekly trips to the local Korean spa, healthy eating regime, and the occasional cheat day with pizza or pasta. "I've never loved my body more than I do right now," she says. "And I'm so grateful that I feel that way."
