The beauty may have excelled, but pushing past her limits is definitely among her New Year’s resolutions. “With this new year, I think as far as healthy living is concerned, it’s important, for me personally, to be less complacent and more challenging, and to keep with what I’ve already been doing, which is to always explore different things,” she adds. “I think it’s great for everyone. It keeps us motivated and it keeps us open to trying new things. I had the best time doing that this year, and it’s definitely what I want to incorporate into this next year.” So just how much did she step up her workout game this past year? Even Scream Queens co-star Emma Roberts has told us how Pilates became a part of their off-camera routine. Don’t think breaking a sweat isn’t all that’s in the cards for Michele’s new year, though. “I’m excited for this new record,” she says of her new album, set to drop in 2016. “I definitely want to get it out as soon as I can in 2016 and have the opportunity to perform. That’s what I want to do more than anything, is to get on stage and sing. That’s my background, coming from Broadway—to perform live is really where I feel most happy, and I want to do that.” How Lea Michele Is Using the #ActuallySheCan Campaign to Empower Girls Everywhere We can’t wait to see what lies ahead in the months to come.
