Lea Michele’s Thoughts on Spanx Will Surprise You

Spanx generally have a bad rep, but Lea Michele is here to convince us that the body-hugging intimates are truly a girl’s best friend.

On Sunday in L.A., the 29-year-old Scream Queens star took a break from her jam-packed schedule to catch up with girlfriends inside of Hollywood producer Jennifer Klein’s annual Day of Indulgence Party, where A-listers like Kerry Washington and J.Lo are pampered with one-of-a-kind beauty treatments and fashionable finds. And while there were many goodies on display for Michele to make a beeline for, one in particularly won her over.

“The Spanx,” she hilariously told InStyle inside of the event. “I just needed a few, fresh pair of Spanx. Because let me tell you something: every girl needs some nice Spanx.” Underpinnings aside, the actress also loved a few Toms sunglasses and Anthropologie blush brushes nearby.

As for how she’d describe the perfect day, let’s just say the beauty has the right idea when it comes to R&R. “My perfect day is waking up in the morning, working out, coming home, or, like, going to the farmer’s market and then coming home and barbecuing with, like, a small group of friends, laying out by the pool, listening to music, and then later in the day ordering in pizza, and watching a scary movie.”

Same here, girl.
