The first look at Laverne Cox in Fox's upcoming remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show is here! It feels like forever since we first learned that the Orange Is the New Black star had been tapped to take on the role of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the reboot of the campy 1975 cult classic, but it was worth the wait. As Frank-N-Furter would say, "It's not easy having a good time."

The first teaser trailer for the film finally arrived on Monday, featuring Cox's impeccable reprisal of the "sweet transvestite" (originally played by Tim Curry) as well as brief appearances by Victoria Justice (Janet) and Ryan McCartan (Brad). Although Adam Lambert (who plays Eddie) and Christina Milian (who has taken up the mantle of Magenta) were absent from this first preview, we expect to see plenty of them as their alien alter egos down the line.

The two-hour taped TV event, which is scheduled to be reborn on television this Halloween, will be a reimagining of the beloved movie-musical, which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary and holds the record for having the longest theatrical release of any film in history.
