The author/fashion designer recently advised readers of her Web site to wear bold colors for fall "to liven up the season’s characteristically structured and tailored silhouettes (and drab palette)." So, in a prime example of practice what you preach, Conrad opted for dresses in punchier hues for some of the book tour stops. She wore a sunny canary yellow Yoana Baraschi dress in New York City, a salmon Erin by Erin Fetherston number the next day in Pennsylvania, followed by a bright orange Haryln frock in Miami. The Paper Crown creator balanced her saturated style with nude pumps and her signature California beachy waves. Both books are available in stores now and online at amazon.com.
