Lanolin is a natural oil that comes from freshly-shorn sheep wool. Don't fret—extracting the ingredient doesn't harm the sheep in any way. The wool is washed in hot water in a special detergent that removes anything stuck to the fibers, and after being spun in a centrifuge to separate it out, a waxy, super-concentrated amount of lanolin is the end result. "Our super-duper high concentration of lanolin, from 50 percent to 100 percent, is what makes our brand unique, and the lanolin we use is the world's highest quality," Carriol adds.
