Elle Macpherson and Gwyneth Paltrow were among the stylish stars at the opening of Louis Vuitton's Bond Street Maison in London last night. The Australian supermodel opted for a short white shift from Vuitton's Cruise 2010 collection, which she paired with black satin slingbacks, while the actress chose a tweed keyhole dress from the Cruise 2011 collection, which she paired with feathered peep-toe booties on the red carpet before switching to pink satin pumps for the party (such are the benefits of celebrating in a store). Thandie Newton, Gemma Arterton, Alexa Chung and Kirsten Dunst also made their way through the luxurious tri-level boutique whilst decked out in Vuitton's latest 1950's-inspired frocks. The French fashion house's creative director, Marc Jacobs, summed up the store, and the scene, best: "It's a monument to luxury and visual stimulation," he told Vogue UK. "It just goes on and on."
