ICYMI: Pink hair is having a moment. With celebs like Kylie JennerKhloé Kardashian, and Bella Hadid all dyeing their hair pastel pink during the final stretch of 2018, the pastel shade is shaping up to be one of next year's biggest hair color trends. It isn't everyone's vibe, though, and if you aren't a fan, you can still ride this pastel hair wave by trying another soft shade. Case in point: Lady Gaga who just went lilac.

Gaga, a celeb who's known for setting trends, not following them, updated her signature platinum hair just a week before kicking off her new Las Vegas residency, called Enigma.

The star's new hair color was first spotted in a photo that her fiancé Christian Carino posted to Instagram. In the shot, Gaga's hair is draped over her face. From the looks of it, she's added dusty purple streaks to her platinum hair that start at her mid-lengths and fade as they reach her ends.

As if Gaga's lilac hair isn't proof enough that the pastel shade is going to be everywhere in 2019, Pinterest confirmed that the purple color is going to be one of next year's biggest hair color trends, too. According to the social media platform's 2019 trends report, searches for" lilac hair" are up 1077 percent.

Thanks to Gaga, we're willing to bet that those searches are at 1078 percent now.
