Monochromatic makeup might currently be one of the biggest beauty trends, but Lady Gaga just took matching your red carpet glam to your outfit to the next level with her 2019 Golden Globes hairstyle.

Wearing a sweeping pastel blue gown which had a train so long it required two people to carry it (casual), it was almost easy to miss the nominee's coordinating blue ombré hair.

Gaga's hairstylist Frederic Aspiras pulled the star's platinum hair back into a tight top knot at the crown of her head. What set the style apart from the average updo was that bun was colored the exact same shade as her blue dress.

While Gaga's color is another example of how pastel hair colors can be subtle, it's not the first color she's tried. Last month the star experimented with lilac balayage ahead of the opening of her Enigma Las Vegas residency.
