Lady Gaga and Her Dad Are Publishing an Italian Cookbook
If you’ve never had a chance to stop by Joanne Trattoria in New York City’s Upper West Side, you'd better book a reservation soon before it’s too late.
The restaurant—a locale with cheese, pasta, and wine abounds—is owned by Joe Germanotta, aka Lady Gaga’s dad, and the father-daughter duo is gearing up to release a book inspired by the menu and their family’s heritage, Rolling Stone reports.

Titled Joanne Trattoria Cookbook: Classic Recipes and Scenes from an Italian American Restaurant ($24; amazon.com), the tome will feature family tales and a closer look at their background. The restaurant is named after Germanotta’s sister, Joanne, who passed away as a teenager. Gaga has previously opened up about her love for and how she feels spiritually connected to her aunt. The book is set for a Nov. 22 release and the singer has written its foreward, which we’re sure stirred up plenty of emotion.
So what else has the pop star been up to? She’s officially set to star alongside Bradley Cooper in a remake of the Barbra Streisand-famous flick, A Star Is Born. She also, following months of rumors from the Little Monster mill, is gearing up to release new music. Gaga took to Instagram on Wednesday to share 12 images that together read “Lady Gaga, Perfect Illusion, New Single, September, Perfect Illusion.”
Sounds like she'd better get her beauty rest, stat.
