Kourtney Kardashian Celebrated Her Birthday with a Socially Distanced Parade
Kourtney Kardashian may not have been able to have a traditional birthday party while we're all socially distancing at the moment, but she had the next best thing: a socially distanced birthday parade.
On Saturday (April 18), Kourtney celebrated her 41st birthday with a special birthday parade coordinated by the rest of her family. Younger sister Kendall Jenner lead a line of cars decked out with balloons, signs, streamers, and other decorations. It was truly a sight to behold, as Kourtney walked outside of her home to see her family's makeshift celebration for her.
Music thumped outside as "attendees" greeted Kourtney with megaphone birthday wishes, honked their horns, and stood outside of their cars to dance and wish Kourtney a happy 41st.
She stood outside with daughter Penelope, clad in an adorable unicorn onesie, as the seemingly never-ending line of luxury SUVs made their way down her street.
It was a cacophony of sight and sound, as Khloe Kardashian yelled out birthday wishes, sister Kim Kardashian's daughter North West danced atop an SUV, and the other kids waved Funnoodles around in celebration of the eldest Kardashian sister. It may have been a far cry from the kind of birthday bash the Kardashian clan typically throws, but it was a fun gesture for sure – and a great way to make sure the family was still practicing social distancing in an effective way.
Honestly, if you think about it, this might be one of the coolest ways to surprise someone with birthday wishes, actually. It isn't every day that someone rolls up to your home with a megaphone and party music bumping and you don't want to send them away or call the police.
