In the episode—which was filmed a while before the traumatic robbery took place—Kardashian West reveals to her best friend Jonathan Cheban that she's been experiencing anxiety while driving. "I've been having anxiety lately," she admitted. "I am totally worried. I am not this person." And she's not alone. Sister Kendall Jenner also revealed that her severe anxiety about flying has resulted in terrifying bouts of sleep paralysis. Concerned about her daughters, matriarch Kris Jenner arranges to have a therapist come over to speak with them. "It's really ironic that Kim and Kendall are going through similar things," she told the camera. "Maybe there's a way they can help each other manage their anxiety." After hearing about their recent problems, the therapist suggested they practice coping mechanisms. Even though Kendall wasn't on board (the model said that thinking about her anxiety only makes it worse), Kim was happy to hop in a car with the doctor to work through things. "I want to get past my anxiety and find a way to live life like before," Kim said as the therapist advised her not to let fear control her. "I have never had anxiety or anything where I am not in control, I think this is a slipup and I have to take back my life." After the therapy session in her car, Kim took some time to look through an old family album with her mother and reminisce about her late father. "My dad lived his life to the fullest. He never lived in fear and I don't want to ruin all the memories for my kids because of my own anxiety," she reflected. "The last thing my dad said to me was, 'I know you will be okay' and 'You are strong,' so I would never not want to live up to that." 10 Reasons Why We Miss Kim Kardashian West VIDEO: Kim Kardashian’s Best Beauty Moments We hope the social media maven keeps these things in mind as she recovers from the robbery that took place more than a month ago.
