Kim Kardashian’s Birthday Beauty Products Aren’t What You Expected

There's no denying it: Kim Kardashian West lives for a neutral. For a time, she refused to wear anything but neutrals, even going so far as to dress daughter North West in the color palette. Judging by her new KKW Beauty collection, though, those days could finally be over.

In true KarJenner fashion, the celebrity released a new and shockingly colorful KKW Beauty collection to celebrate her 38th birthday. The birthday-inspired launch consists of seven Pressed Powder Pigments and seven Loose Powder Pigments in bright, shimmery, jewel-toned shades, like cobalt, magenta, and even a fiery orange.

The birthday collection is quite a far departure from Kardashian's signature nude lip and bronze eye, but then again, she was just seen with lime green hair, so maybe her love affair with neutral colors has faded.

The pressed pigments can obviously be used for eyeshadow and highlighter, but the loose pigments provide even more versatility. You can use them dry as highlighter, eyeshadow, and body shimmer, and when they're wet, the brand claims you can use them as eyeliner. Apparently you can even mix the loose pigment with your lip gloss. If you're into them, you can scoop them up on Friday, October 19 at 12 p.m. PST.
