Kiehl's Nails It With Their Brand New Polish Line
The only thing more beautiful than news of one of our favorite brands launching nail polish? The feel-good cause that the lacquer benefits. In July, Kiehl's will roll out their first-ever nail polish, which will benefit amFAR in the fight against AIDS and coincides with the brand's 2014 LifeRide movement. The annual LifeRide motorcycle trip aims to raise HIV awareness as well as funds for amFAR, and the convoy of 20 bikers will ride all the way from Milwaukee, WI to the original Kiehl's outpost on 13th street in New York City. With that in mind, it's only appropriate that the brand's first nail launch should be a shiny black hue. "We've had motorcycles [in our stores] and we've always had that biker-esque image, so we thought black would be great," Kiehl's president Chris Salgardo tells WWD. "It's a way to start the conversation, and our nails will look badass along the way." The nail polish is so new, it hasn't even been named yet, but it's expected to land at Kiehl's stores and counters priced from $15 to $17 this summer.
