Staying fit during the holidays can be a challenge. From Friendsgiving celebrations to work parties and family gatherings, it's hard to find the time to hit the gym, let alone the willpower to resist all those yummy treats. Yes, the holiday pudge can be real, a fact that Khloé Kardashian knows well. But lucky for us, the newly slimmed-down star and author of Strong Looks Better Naked has some tips for keeping the pounds off during the holidays. And they are—wait for it—surprisingly easy to follow.

Step number one? DO indulge. "I eat what I want—in moderation. It's all about small portions," Kardashian says on her website. "That way I feel good, I eat what I want and I enjoy the holiday." And for the reality star, that includes cookies, but she limits herself to only one, which she admits keeps her from feeling guilty about the treat.

And although your holiday plans coupled with the dropping temps may mean you can't squeeze in that outdoor run or your usual SoulCycle class, that doesn't mean you should forego your workout all together. "You can do squats and planks ANYWHERE," she writes. "So don't tell me you can't squeeze in a quick workout." Another one of her easy, go-to exercises? Jumping rope. Just make sure you bring one along on your holiday travels, because preparation is key.
