Khloé Kardashian Describes Her Exact Pregnancy Workout, Step by Step

Now that Khloé Kardashian has officially confirmed her pregnancy with Tristan Thompson, she seems happy to share snippets of her maternity life with her friends and fans alike, and that includes her pregnancy-related goals for the year.

Kardashian is firmly focused on her health and wellbeing ahead of becoming a first-time mom, and she's got thoughts about how she'd like that to factor into her New Year.

"For me, health and wellness resolutions are especially important this year. Being pregnant, it's a whole different type of self-care," she wrote on her app on Jan. 3. "I still exercise to maintain my sanity and also to feel good about myself, but my workouts are not as intense as they once were."

In an effort to be detailed, Kardashian later revealed her exact workout routine on her app on Friday, Jan. 12. After starting with a 30-minute cardio warmup, she moves into shoulder raises with squats for three 30-second sets, followed by push-ups.

"This is no ordinary push-up!" she wrote. "Every time I come up, I tap my shoulders with my opposing hands (left hand on right shoulder, right hand on left shoulder) before lower down again. This move works your arms and chest of course, but also your core."

After push-ups comes lateral duck walks for three 30-second sets and battle ropes.

"Battle ropes shred your arm muscles. I step it up by kneeling on a Waff Mini Elite so I engage my core too. Everyone was asking me about it, so here it is if you want to get one for your next workout!"

After doing 30 chest presses and minute of weighted squats, she finishes her workouts off with bird-dog planks.

"This move is a game-changer for your core! You'll need two Waff Minis (or anything that creates instability). Place your knee on one with your opposing hand on the other and hold (and hold ... and hold ...) for 30 seconds," she wrote. "Take a few breaths, then do it again with the opposite knee and hand for another 30 seconds. Believe me, it's harder than it looks!"

While working out is still important to the star, nutrition is also key, and Kardashian noted that in her Jan. 3 app post.

"I'm also eating differently because, of course, I have cravings, but I want to make sure I'm supplying my baby with the proper nutrients," she wrote. "So I'm focused on being healthy mind, body, and soul for myself and the baby—but man, I can't wait to be a beast in the gym already, LOL. Still, for as active as I have been during my pregnancy, I feel great. So my new year's resolution will be to stay as healthy mentally and physically as I can!"

That sounds like a great resolution to us, and it's really no surprise she's got her pregnancy in mind. Her big sis Kim Kardashian West had a similarly baby-focused resolution.

"Going into 2018, my New Year's resolution is to be on my phone less and be in the moment. As my kids are getting older, it's so important for me to be present for everything—from taking them to school to watching them play together. And, since Kanye and I are expecting, I want to spend even more time together as we welcome our new baby girl into our family," she wrote on her app.

Both Khloé and Kim's surrogate are due this year, as is their baby sister Kylie Jenner. 2018 is already shaping up to be the year of the Kardashian baby boom.
