Taylor Swift's girl squad is pretty notorious, but it's arguably just as famous because of who chooses not to be in it. While some friends are clearly pro-squad, like Selena Gomez, others are more on the fence. And now we have a clear answer with Swift's fellow singer, Kesha.

Kesha is on the cover of Rolling Stone's latest issue, and in her interview, she made it known where she and Swift stand.

“[She's] a f—ing sweetheart. Very, very sweet, very, very genuine, extremely generous, picks up the phone every time I call her," said Kesha. "My mom doesn’t even always pick up the phone!”

Back in 2016, Swift donated $250,000 to Kesha as she fought in court to produce music outside of her label Sony Music, which still employed Dr. Luke, whom she accused of rape. "In a show of support, Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to Kesha to help with any of her financial needs during this trying time," a spokesperson for Swift wrote in a statement.

During Swift's own sexual assault trial this year, Kesha praised her friend. “I support you always, and especially right now and admire your strength and fearlessness. Truth is always the answer,” she wrote on Twitter.

Of course, as any Swift fan knows, the singer hasn't gone without drama attached to her name, but if you want behind-the-scenes nitty-gritty details, Kesha really isn't the person to ask.

“I’m not really up on my pop culture," she admitted. "Should I know something about it? I live in my record player.”

She might live in her record player, but at least she has Swift to call every now and then. This is definitely a musical friendship we can get behind.

Now if only they'd release a song together.
