Kelly Ripa Is Wearing Her Daughter Lola's Clothes on TV Now
"It’s gone there."
It's gotten real out there for Kelly Ripa during her time in self-isolation.
During Tuesday's (remote) episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan, Ripa and co-host Ryan Seacrest discussed their respective self-isolation wardrobes, with Seacrest admitting he was "running out of things to wear for the show."
"I’m now in my daughter’s clothes," she said. "It’s gone there."
Ripa's 18-year-old daughter, Lola Consuelos, who she shares with husband Mark Consuelos, is currently home isolating with the rest of the family.
"My daughter learned how to do my hair using the tie of your bathrobe," Ripa added. "She watched a TikTok video on how to do hair by wrapping your hair around the bathrobe tie. And my daughter did my hair!"
Ripa previously opened up about not speaking to two of her three children (Lola, 22-year-old Michael, and 17-year-old Joaquin), citing the toll the coronavirus pandemic has taken on their family.
"I'm not talking to two of them because … just because, we're all in the same boat together, right? Like, I haven't gotten to hug my parents … I want to hug my parents. I miss hugging my parents," she said. "And my kids, like, won't hug me. And I'm like, 'Guys we've all been in lockdown together. We're fine. You can give me a hug. It's fine.'"
At the moment, though, things appear to have lightened up in the Ripa-Consuelos household — if not through hugs, at least through shared clothing.
