Katy Perry just keeps on winning. Two months after nabbing the top spot on Forbes's 2015 list of the highest-paid women in music (besting everybody's bestie, Taylor Swift) Perry roared again. Her achievement this time: The singer has surpassed 80 million followers on Twitter.

Although Perry has long held the title of "most followers" on the popular social media platform, passing the 80 million mark solidifies the "Firework" singer's Twitter reign more than ever.

Justin Bieber continues to hold court behind Perry, coming in second place with just under 73 million Twitter followers, while Swift sits pretty in third place with 69 million devoted Swifties. So what other heights does the 31-year-old pop star hope to reach? According to her manager, Steven Jensen, Perry plans to release her fourth full-length studio album sometime in 2016, so we'll just have to wait and see.
