Attention Katy Perry fans—if you thought you would have to wait until later this week to hear more about her brand new single, think again.

The superstar just shared what we assume to be a snippet of her upcoming (and highly anticipated) new song on Instagram, and it is everything we hoped it would be. In the short clip, we see the singer's ankle chained to a giant sparkling disco ball as she walks on the pavement in matching metallic heels. At first we only hear the sound of metal scraping the ground, but soon a punchy beat kicks in.

"Why are we all so chained... #FRIDAYTHE10TH," Perry captioned the video.

Several hours earlier she posted a 'gram of a billboard going up that featured a photo of her with very, very blonde hair and nothing but the words "February 10" written across it.

It's been a big week for Katycats! The sneak peek follows news that Perry will perform at the 2017 Grammy Awards this weekend, which air on February 12 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

We can't wait to see what she has in store.
