The story of the Kennedys has been told time and time again, but never like this. Katie Holmes first played President John F. Kennedy’s wife Jackie Kennedy in the TV miniseries The Kennedys, and she’s back to tell a new story: what happened after the president’s assassination.
Holmes was spotted (above) in costume on the set of the new series, The Kennedys: After Camelot, in Toronto dressed up as the iconic former First Lady. With her brown lob perfectly mimicking the incredible volume of Jackie O.'s hair, the actress looked like the fashion icon's doppelgänger. Dressed in a ribbed turtleneck and white pencil skirt, the costume nailed the trends of the era.
This isn’t the first look we’ve gotten at Holmes on the set of the Reelz miniseries. Earlier this month, she was spotted in a wrap coat and headscarf for the role. Cameras captured her embracing the actor who plays Maurice Tempelsman, Kennedy’s last companion, on set.
With one look at their striking resemblance, it’s clear that Holmes is perfect for the role.
