While you get your recon ready for Black Friday—make a list and check it twice!—there is one pair of celebrity besties you won’t see digging through the racks, Kathy Griffin and Kristin Chenoweth. “I’m too famous to shop!” Griffin joked to InStyle.com at the L.A. launch of Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s charity, Tie the Knot. “I haven’t shopped myself since Suddenly Susan season two. [Stylist] Robert Verdi buys all my clothes for me and sends me a bill without question.” Chenoweth agreed with a smile. “I’m not too famous to shop; I am too famous for Black Friday, though,” she said. “But I love shopping. I get an actual high when I buy something!” Together, they came up with a solution: “Our advice to every day working American women—make sure your assistants drop you off at the door and then your assistant can pick you up later.” If only!
