Katherine Heigl Debuted Her New Bob on Instagram

After making a move to the dark side last fall, Katherine Heigl made another major change to her hair. In a new Instagram post, Heigl showed off shorn locks, going from long, collarbone-grazing chocolate locks to a sleek new bob that hits right at her jaw. In her caption, Heigl explained that she and her three kids, daughters Adalaide Marie Hope, 7, and Naleigh Mi-Eun, 11, along with her son Joshua Bishop, 3, got haircuts, but only she and Joshua had their new styles documented on social media.

"Fresh cuts for the Kelley's. The girls were no where [sic] to be found for these pics ... or they're hiding cause they don't want to be in the pic...but every one of us got our hairs done and we feel fine!" she wrote. "PS. I will capture the girls cuts one way or another ... they can't hide forever."

Heigl shares her children with her husband, Josh Kelley. The two have been married for more than 12 years. Her initial hair transformation was for a role, Peoplenotes. She went from blonde to brunette for her character, Tully Hart, in Netflix's upcoming Firefly Lane.

"If you haven’t caught my stories this will be a shock for you… #tullyhart #FireflyLane #nextroleforthisgal," she captioned the Instagram reveal. She joked in a Story that "a little role play might be a good idea" and even gave fans a Grey's Anatomy throwback, telling her husband, "Good evening Mr. Kelley … I just need to do a few routine tests."
