File this under yet another reason our love for Kate Winslet knows no bounds. We've always appreciated the star's refreshingly real approach to beauty, and in a recent interview with Net-a-Porter magazine, the Lancôme ambassador revealed that she'll often ask the brand to dial down the Photoshop blur and lighting tricks if her wrinkles aren't visible in the ad campaigns. Though retouching is an inevitable part of the photo editing process, Winslet says it's important for her to speak up because she aims to be "a person who stands by what they say, personally and publicly," she tells the publication.

"I'm baffled that anyone might not think women get more beautiful as they get older," Winslet adds. "Confidence comes with age, and looking beautiful comes from the confidence someone has in themselves." Preach it, sister! Head over to net-a-porter.com now to read the star's interview in full.
