We’re sure that Kate Middleton would look polished and impossibly royal wearing sweats and a facemask mid-Netflix binge—she just has that air about her. But when the Duchess of Cambridge steps out for a public appearance, you know she’s really going to pull out all the stops.

One day after a leg-baring outing at the London premiere of A Street Cat Named Bob, the duchess donned a very different look when she headed to Gloucestershire, England, and paid a visit to two establishments: HMP Eastwood Park (a women’s prison) and Nelson Trust Women’s Centre (a support network for survivors of domestic abuse).

During an outing on Friday, Middleton looked perfectly polished in a black turtleneck top, a Dolce & Gabbana button-bearing tweed skirt and a pale blue Mulberry coat. Middleton paired her look with an autumn-ready set of black pumps and matching tights, her rich brunette locks billowing in loose waves at her shoulders.

On Friday the do-gooder spoke with the staff and listened to stories from the prisoners and then went on to the women’s center to hear from both abuse victims and staff members.
