Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out on Tuesday morning (February 4) for a seaside outing.

The royal couple headed out to the South Wales resort fo Mumbles, where they spent some time at a lifeboat station there, watching the crew prep for a launch.

The Duchess bundled up appropriately for the occasion, as she paired her usual red Zara dress ensemble with a cozy navy coat from Hobbs, red and white scarf, and comfortable black boots in a bid to keep warm while combating those biting seaside winds. She carried a matching red clutch as she explored with Prince William.

She wore her hair back in loose curls, pulled away from her face with the rest of her locks falling around her shoulders, paired with low-profile golden earrings.

While spending time at sea, Kate and Prince William also hit a quaint little ice cream shop, where they chatted with the public about a variety of topics, including Kate's "5 Big Questions on the Under Fives" survey, which she launched earlier in February during a trip to Cardiff. They also, of course, enjoyed some delicious ice cream by way of Joe's Ice Cream Parlour.

Kate and William will be spending additional time in the area during Children's Mental Health Week, since Kate's charity Place2be has a hand in organizing the event. The pair will check out Tata Steelworks, the largest steel plant in the UK, while spending some time with workers there ahead of a stop at a mental health initiative for young people who have dealt with tough experiences in their childhood.
