Kate Middleton Gives a Nod to Scottish Fashion on Her Visit to Edinburgh
Kate Middleton braved the Edinburgh cold in flawless style Wednesday, wearing a glamorous green ensemble for her first solo engagement to Scotland.
Looking impeccably put together, the Duchess of Cambridge, known in Scotland as the Countess of Strathearn, donned a tailored mossy green Sportmax coat, cinched with a matching belt at the waist, and paired it with green suede heels during a visit to St. Catherine's Primary School.
And while the duchess always impresses us with her impeccable style choices, she gets extra fashion cred for respectfully donning a houndstooth skirt by Le Kilt, a brand with Scottish roots, while visiting England’s northern neighbor. She capped off the sophisticated look with a black turtleneck, minimal makeup, and her signature glossy waves.

Later in the day she is expected to join Andy Murray's mother Judy at a tennis workshop in the Scottish capital.
