We already know how excited Prabal Gurung was when he saw Kate Middleton wearing a purple-patterned shift from his Spring 2012 collection during her Diamond Jubilee Tour stop in the designer's native Singapore. So, we're thinking Prabal must have been equally elated when he found out how fast the dress sold out after the Duchess of Cambridge was pictured in it Web-wide! Amazon site put the dress up for sale at a deeply discounted $599 (marked down from $1,995) and it sold out in less than an hour, according to the New York Daily News. And this is not an isolated incident. Catherine also stepped out in the Tara blouse and matching Full Pleat Skirt from Singapore-based design house Raoul, and within 24 hours, the skirt (which normally retails for $305) raked in an impressive $1,000 in an eBay auction. The top, meanwhile, sold out on and caused the site's traffic to jump from 355 to 2,596. "She [Kate Middleton] is an international style icon, and it is a great honor for us to be recognized by her," Raoul co-creative directors Douglas and Odile Benjamin said. Clearly, Kate hasn't lost her selling power. So, tell us: Would you pay (literally!) homage to the Duchess of Cambridge's style?
