Kate Middleton's Royal Wedding Look Pays Tribute to Her Own Wedding
While Kate Middleton’s fairytale Alexander McQueen wedding dress will forever stand as the Duchess’s most iconic fashion moment, she’s certainly no scrub when it comes to wedding guest attire, either.
Unsurprisingly, Middleton didn’t use Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s nuptials (aka the royal event of the year) as an excuse to drop her wedding guest style streak.
Kate, who gave birth to her and Prince William’s third child, Prince Louis, less than one month ago, arrived at St. George’s Chapel in a pale yellow Alexander McQueen coat (her wedding go-to, apparently), a large matching Philip Treacy fascinator, and a set of Jimmy Choo heels (just like sister Pippa!). She wore her dark locks down in loose curls, guiding mini-bridesmaid Princess Charlotte into St. George's Chapel.
Middleton was the guest to beat at her sister Pippa’s wedding last year, arriving on site in a tea-length blush Alexander McQueen dress with billowing sleeves, a plunging V-neck, and a pleated skirt. Kate topped the look with a matching fascinator bearing an ornately crafted rose.
The new mom is absolutely glowing—though, of course, we expected no less.
