Kate Middleton Does an In-Flight Outfit Swap, Landing in Sydney in a Vibrant Yellow Frock

And they're off! Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince George have left New Zealand and officially landed in Sydney, Australia, their next stop on the Royal Tour. But how did they spend their final hours in New Zealand? Playing with adorable German shepherd puppies that will be trained as police dogs during a visit to the to the Royal New Zealand Police College. For the occasion, Middleton chose a navy Rebecca Taylor tweed skirt suit (that she has worn before) with an embellished collar, which she accessorized with Prada pumps in the same hue. The look was fitting for their last day in the country, as the designer Taylor hails from New Zealand. Middleton boarded the plane with her family in the same look, and away they went.

The family landed in Sydney, Australia to much fanfare and cheering crowds, with the Duchess switching into a vivid yellow, wool crepe dress by Roksanda Ilincic featuring a folded detail at the skirt and white panels. She paired the vibrant and slightly more fashion-forward frock—which we love—with her favorite LK Bennett nude pumps and woven clutch. The dress is a custom version of the label’s ‘Ryedale’ piece from their spring/summer 2014 collection (which you can still buy at matchesfashion.com, though we doubt for long)—with Middleton's version featuring a different neckline, slimmer sleeves, and opposite color palette.

The royal family was whisked away to Sydney’s famed Opera House for a reception held in their honor after arriving, just the first of many events scheduled for the Australian leg of their trip. Two on-point outfits? All in a day's work for the Duchess of Cambridge.
