On Friday afternoon, Almost Famous star Kate Hudson stepped into the city’s swanky Bal Harbour Shops for a signing of her new book, Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body ($16; amazon.com), inside Books & Books. She even took to Snapchat earlier last week (below) to share just how rowdy these events can get.
For the bookworm-approved occasion, Hudson decided to honor the Sunshine State’s balmy weather and show some skin with a daring, yet inspiring, look. She rocked a pair of high-waisted, loose-fitting Thakoon trousers with a dark floral print and paired it with a sheer, long-sleeved matching crop top that turned all the attention to her camera-ready midriff. She pulled her hair up and off of her face in a loose ponytail.
