Kate Bosworth has the art of red carpet dressing down to a science. Did you see her stunning Dolce & Gabbana frock at this year’s Met Gala? But don’t think the 33-year-old actress only knows how to nail it at high-profile events.

On Tuesday afternoon the beauty hit the streets of Montreal in a garden-ready look that’s seriously making us want to step away from our desks and run to the nearest farmers' market. Yes, Bosworth brought along her choppy, wavy platinum locks and a subdued version of her go-to red lip, but it’s her three-piece ensemble that spoke volumes to her relaxed, yet elevated, style. Her high-waisted white denim shorts offered a sleek alternative to indigo and she paired it well with an on-trend blousy off-the-shoulder top and mesh-covered black Sandro booties.

Her small black shopping bag doubled as a structural, geometric tote, and those bright yellow sunflowers were the perfect addition for such a minimal, spring-ready getup. The best part? Bosworth took to Instagram to reveal that all of her items are from American Eagle Outfitters—evidence that killer style doesn’t have to cost a fortune.
