Kate Bosworth Gives an Artful Spin on the Little Pink Dress in New York City
After starting the week off in a relaxed, yet cute pair of pajamas, Kate Bosworth was back in the high-fashion saddle this week.
On Thursday the actress stepped out in the Big Apple for the Idole de Christofle jewelry line launch—clad in a little pink dress that literally could stop New York City traffic.
Christofle's first-ever gold and diamond jewelry collection calls for something chic and standout. Naturally, Bosworth easily delivered that. Her Jil Sander frock in the rosy hue was equipped with artful, structural sleeves, pleated detailing, and a length that hit just at the ankles.
Bosworth also donned with leather, ankle-strap pumps, a matching blush belt cinching her waist, a sleek ponytail, dewy skin, and salmon-hued lips. And naturally, she completed the ensemble with jewelry from the new line.
"I’m wearing the little earrings that are really sweet," she told InStyle at the event, held at BG Restaurant at Bergdorf Goodman. "I love that the collection is meant to mix and match with metals and also its very fluid in terms of a little bit more of a statement piece mixed with simpler things and that’s very much how I wear my jewelry so it’s perfect for my style.
"It goes with everything," she added. "That’s my favorite type of jewelry."
Husband Michael Polish was also in attendance, looking dapper in an expertly-tailored black suit.
We will definitely be copying this look for all our holiday parties.
