From its highest vantage point, where the Fendi creative director sits comfortably on a couch alongside his beloved mini-me Hudson Kroenig, son of longtime Lagerfeld muse Brad Kroenig, you can see expansive views of Central Park, the Time Warner Center, and both the Hudson and East rivers. Sarah Jessica Parker, Rihanna, and More Give the Fendi Baguette a Makeover It's understandable that the storied designer was taking five, considering the dinner he's readying himself to host for Fendi is just the second part of the evening. Earlier, a fleet of New York bold faces including Rihanna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Martha Stewart, Olivia Palermo, and Rachel Zoe gathered to toast the Italian fashion house's 3Baguette project, in which the brand enlisted five creatives (Rihanna, Parker, Jourdan Dunn, Rachel Feinstein, and Leandra Medine) to design a customized bag with a portion of the proceeds contributing to a cause of their choice. "It took a lot of crude drawing on napkins at restaurants," a chuckling Parker told us of her design process. "I know that people like bright colors and gold, and I want the bag to go for a lot of money, so I tried to think how I could make something commercial and appealing but still feel good about it." At the subsequent dinner, waiters orbited the room clutching iPads where guests could bid on the five charitable baguettes. Chelsea Leyland gabbed to seatmate Lily Kwong about her hair, ruffling her hands through it saying, "I love it! Do you always wear it up or down?" After posing for a few quick photos, she pranced into the dinner area and ran straight into Lagerfeld's arms, barely leaving his side for the duration of the night. They later retreated to the aforementioned cramped bedroom-- perhaps, now stylishly cozy for two! PHOTOS: Rihanna's Changing Looks
