Kardashians Share Sweet Birthday Tributes to Their Late Dad That Will Make You Tear Up

Cue the tears.

It’s an emotional day for the Kardashian family—February 22 marks what would have been the late Robert Kardashian‘s 73rd birthday. And his four children, along with ex-wife Kris Jenner, took to social media to pay tribute to the businessman and attorney, who passed away from esophageal cancer at age 59 on September 30, 2003.

Rob Kardashian was the first to post on Instagram, and shared two throwback photos of the father-son duo from his childhood. "Happy birthday pops," he captioned the first image, before 'gramming another snap where he mentioned his 3-month-old daughter Dream Kardashian. "Happy birthday dad woohoo!" he wrote. "Wish you were here to meet Dream."

Shortly after, Kim Kardashian West shared an old family photo and several tweets on Twitter about her dad. "Happy Birthday dad!" she said. "I love this family photo. I love our family. Thank you for EVERYTHING. I'm so grateful you are my dad!"

She then talked about a letter her father wrote her in high school, and the notes she writes to her own children—3-year-old North West and 2-year-old Saint West—each year.

Oldest sibling Kourtney Kardashian also posted a touching note on Instagram along with a baby photo and wrote: "Happy birthday to the most handsome, funniest, sweetest, best daddy in the world! #MoustacheOnFleek."

Jenner shared the same image as Kim did on her own account. "There’s not a day that goes by that we don’t miss you," she said. "Forever grateful for the love you gave, the lessons you taught the kids, and the memories we shared. Missing you always. I am so blessed to have had you in my life and I cherish every single memory. I love you. Happy birthday Robert."

We love how this brood keeps their dad's memory alive.
