Kanye West caused quite a commotion eight months ago when he debuted his Yeezy Season 1 collection for Adidas during New York Fashion Week, and then for a second time, when he launched his Yeezy Boost 350s. Now that his ready-to-wear designs, (consisting of interchangeable pieces that can assembled in any number of ways "like Legos") are set to hit shelves today, we suspect that another uproar for the goods is imminent.

"I don’t want the clothes to be the life," West has said of the collection. "I want the clothes to help the life. I wanted something that felt like New York or Paris or Tokyo or Santa Barbara or Chicago—a worldliness and an ease."

To translate, that means a line-up that can be worn anywhere—on a global scale. Saturated in earthy neutral shades (think olive, camel, and brown), each piece is deliberately pared down to deliver comfort with a cool attitude toward easy dressing. But that's not to say there isn't a theme. This collection, especially, has an undercurrent of utilitarianism, which he describes as "modern armor" for women—bomber jackets, military parkas, and quilted vests serve as the line's greatest hits.

Head to to snag a Kanye West original (clothing ranges from $130 to $3,380 while footwear ranges from $250 to $625) before it's too late.
