Kaia Gerber Will Convince You to Buy This Cult-Classic Concealer
Twenty-four hours ago, Kaia Gerber was getting a makeover from legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath herself. Today? She's the face of not one, but three different YSL Beauté campaigns. A lot can happen in a day — especially if you're Kaia Gerber. The 17-year-old supermodel (and legit doppelgänger to her mother Cindy Crawford) is the newest brand ambassador for YSL Beauté, joining the ranks of celebrities, artists, and supermodels like Zoë Kravitz and Adam Levine.
Gerber made the announcement on Instagram with her first campaign image — it features a picture of herself wearing a glittery smoky eye and long, voluminous lashes.
Gerber will begin her ambassadorship in the campaign for Rouge Volupté Shine, an oil-based, moisturizing lipstick that leaves behind the perfect wash of color and a boost of shine. Given the fact that her signature is fresh-faced, effortless beauty looks, representing this hybrid product, which is the perfect mix between a lipstick and a balm, makes sense.
Later in the year, you'll also see her face next to the brand's Touche Éclat (yes, the same concealer Meghan Markle freaks out over) and the Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils.
This isn't Gerber's first beauty contract, believe it or not. She was also named a face of Marc Jacobs, and starred in the brand's Daisy Love fragrance campaign.
First Marc Jacobs and YSL then... Pepsi? If she's truly following in her mom's footsteps, anything is possible.
