Kaia Gerber can officially add actress to her résumé.
The 14-year-old budding model opened up about her acting debut in the upcoming Lifetime flick Sister Cities at the film's premiere in Los Angeles last night, and she dished on whether or not she plans to ditch modeling for life on the big screen. "I'm focusing a lot on modeling right now and it's been pretty busy, but just because this whole experience has been incredible I'm not closing any doors to anything," she told E! News about balancing both careers.
Gerber also revealed that she was definitely more apprehensive when it came to flexing her acting chops. "I was more nervous than I usually am, but I think it was just such a warm cast and everyone on set was super nice that they just made it super easy and amazing," the young beauty said of making the movie. But did her supermodel mom Cindy Crawford gave her any tips for the job? "She told me more about being on time, being professional," the star shared, "but I think it just comes down to your own instincts."
And as for who she looks up to in the modeling world (aside from her mom!), Gerber named several ladies high on the top of our favorites list—Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid. "I've been lucky enough to hang out with them all and see just how nice they are and how unaffected they are," she said. "It's just shown me how you can still have this crazy amount of fame but be nice and not lose that humanity."
