By now we know that Justin Bieber is a big fan of countdowns. The singer has been frequently taking to Instagram as of late in order to remind followers of the time until he releases his new singles and his upcoming album, Purpose (out in #2Days). But yesterday, as part of “Justin Bieber Week” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the “What Do You Mean?” singer got straight to the point—and announced a concert tour.

During a sit down interview with the beloved funny lady herself, Bieber revealed that he’ll embark on the Purpose World Tour next year. “I’m actually going on tour!” Bieber said. “I will start this tour—oh gosh, it’s the only thing I had to remember. Do you know?” The blonde-haired talent may have jokingly forgotten all of his tour details, but DeGeneres was thankfully there to help the crooner out.

The 58-date tour kicks off March 9, 2016, in Seattle and runs through July 18, when the megawatt artist will complete his new gig with what we presume will be a sold-out show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. “First round of dates are up. Presale on Fahlo next week #purposeworldtour,” Bieber wrote on Instagram, alongside a promotional image for the tour. Tickets also go on sale next week on, but devoted Beliebers can head to today to purchase the first batch of coveted tickets.
